TCS 22 Sponsor Benefits

Discover Solutions

The Coastal Society's biennial conference is one of the longest-running series of coastal conferences in the US, providing a forum for interdisciplinary education and discussion on coastal issues. Speakers debate issues in plenary sessions, creating an awareness of needs among coastal resource users and offering opportunities for innovative solutions to problems. In concurrent sessions, coastal and ocean professionals share cutting edge research and strategies, sparking new ideas. TCS 22 is the place to listen, discuss, ask questions and apply this knowledge to the future of the coasts. As a sponsor, you can attend and participate in the discovery.

Connect with Coastal Professionals

Approximately 400 participants are expected to attend the 2010 conference including policy and decision-makers, state and federal coastal and ocean resource managers, local planners, academics from a variety of disciplines, business and industry personnel, teachers, graduate students, coastal engineers and consultants. Coastal connections, transcending geographic boundaries and disciplines, are made at TCS conferences and kept long after, enriching coastal resource management. Make your connections with colleagues and clients even stronger by attending as a conference sponsor.

Promote Your Organization's Role in Coastal Issues

The Coastal Society works with sponsors interested in coastal issues and are committed to addressing those issues by fostering dialogue, forging partnerships and promoting communication and education. TCS prides itself on ensuring that conference sponsors receive highly visible recognition for their support that helps make a TCS conference a success. Bring your organization to the center of the dialogue and communicate your expertise to conference participants.

Sponsor Interaction

Sponsors have ample opportunity to mingle informally with conference attendees at educational sessions, lunches and receptions. TCS Board of Directors helps make connections to those individuals most relevant to your work. Highly visible formal recognition is given to sponsors in all conference materials including the registration packet, final program conference proceedings, and during individually sponsored events. Lists of sponsors are displayed during the conference. Sponsors of $10,000 and above receive highest visibility exhibit spaces.

Sponsorship Options

The caliber of these stimulating conferences cannot be produced without conference sponsorships. Unrestricted funds as charitable donations to TCS as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization have the greatest benefit to both The Coastal Society and the sponsor. However, if corporate or government agency giving restrictions apply, sponsorships will be acknowledged as support for the conference within the range of permissible activities. For the types of conference activities and their associated costs, please consider our Sponsorship Opportunities.
