Submitting Presentations

We are offering two options for submitting your final PowerPoint presentation:

OPTION ONE:
You are highly encouraged to email your presentation to our on-site Conference Coordinator, Carl Musson at cmusson@admin.usf.edu no later than May 8th. Emailed presentations will not be accepted after this date.

Presentations must be in PC format. We are sorry, but we do not have DVD drives. If you bring a presentation that requires DVD, please bring your own computer and conference management will assist you in hooking up your computer for presentation of that particular presentation. Please alert Carl if you expect to do this.

Submitters should provide the following in the body of the email:

  • Name
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Session Title
  • Concurrent Session: Number, Date and Time

Please double-check the Concurrent Session Schedule posted on the TCS 20 website to ensure that this information is correct.

You will receive an email confirmation that your presentation has been received and that the program boots successfully.

Please bring an extra copy of your presentation on a CD or thumb drive in the event of a technical problem and note that no changes can be made to presentations once they have been submitted via email.

OPTION TWO:
You may bring your presentation on a CD or thumb drive and work with conference staff upon check-in at the registration desk at the hotel to upload your presentation so that it will already be loaded onto the computer that will be in your scheduled room on your presentation day. Please note that you will need to be available during the uploading process to make sure that your presentation has been uploaded in full, and that all of your slides are working correctly. Please come to the conference registration desk immediately upon your arrival so that there is time to problem-solve any issues that may arise.

As we have limited resources, TCS strongly encourages presenters to email their presentations in advance so that we can avoid delays in our concurrent session schedule, there will be less chance of a mix-up, and that you will have fewer concerns, less stress and more time to enjoy the conference and speaking with fellow attendees and presenters.

Upon arrival at the Tradewinds, please identify yourself as an oral presenter and/or poster presenter at the Registration Desk so we may confirm your participation on-site. While we will make every effort to notify you of changes, please double check the Concurrent Sessions Schedule at the Registration Desk as last minute rooms and times may have changed.

In the event of an unforeseen last minute cancellation after May 10th, please contact me on my cell phone at 617.694.5508. I will not have regular access to email and work voice mail after that time.

I thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Kate Killerlain Morrison
