New - TCS 19 Plenary Web-cast

Common trends and issues in this coastal region are: high rates of population growth and in-migration; resource- dependent communities in decline; threatened salmon runs; volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis along the Cascadia Subduction Zone; coastal erosion and flooding; a beleaguered fishing industry; expanding marine tourism and recreation; and growing trans-Pacific container trade.
